It was a bikini incision. It took 5 weeks before I was back to normal. I swore I would never go through that again if I could avoid it. Four years later, and pregnant again I began my search for a doctor who would Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00306838903975729775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8589529739723308403.post-83151815089688848992012-11-17T21:43:00.979-05:002012-11-17T21:43:00.979-05:00Thanks for the advice ladies. He's the only one that I've seen in the last few months so I need to touch base with all of them. He wasn't super helpful. He told me a lot of things that I already knew about the risks of each type of delivery and didn't want to commit to anything, which didn't surprise me. He gave me about Ordinary Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04097349591385452530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8589529739723308403.post-78702756061323049082012-11-15T20:50:29.784-05:002012-11-15T20:50:29.784-05:00I'm glad to hear you're OK! I feel the same way- bigger, more uncomfortable, more tired, more sore, less able to do things, etc.

I agree with Mina - stop googling. Talk to your doc's about a VBAC and get the info that way, then make the informed decision. But talk to both docs and see what they BOTH have to say.

Emmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08761362136697332510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8589529739723308403.post-7442049172104091682012-11-10T13:55:14.932-05:002012-11-10T13:55:14.932-05:00I was thinking that you must be in the third trime...I was thinking that you must be in the third trimester now... Isn't time just flying away?! Faster every year it seems.
You sound well. Which is very nice to hear. Realising one's own fortune is very important.
The vbac sounds daunting. I would advice against googling it any more - try getting more specialised advice, from a trusted midwife, perhaps, or doctor?
